Goodbye party

So last night there was a gudbye party for my supervisor, who is moving on to bigger and better things. We also celebrated our new supervisor! Lots of chips and cokes and beer and pisco, and we got to hear all the crazy stories our bosses have from their own hotel experiences, i thought id retell some.

1.Ursu's experience with a local tribe in Puno, her hotel was right on the edge of lake Titicaca. Apparently these locals take it very seriously when someone invades there land/lake. So one evening when they decided the hotel was contaminating their lake, they picked up torches and stakes and decided they should set on fire the general manager of the hotel, my boss. She literally had to lock herself in one of the hotel rooms until the mob was explained and demonstrated how the hotel really does not contaminate the water. After the incident the tribe and the hotel were at peace. 

2. Gaby had a story about when she was working at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was spring break and a group of guys had rented a room at her hotel. This hotel room had a pretty balcony that overlooked the beach. One night when the gentlemen decided to get wasted one of them thought it would be a great idea to throw himself off the pretty balcony. His friends weren't so bright.. they realized he had fallen, gone downstairs, picked him up and proceeded to dump him in his bed. Later on when they sobered up they realized he was bleeding out and only then did they notify hotel security - he survived thank gudness.
