The BIG 25!
Although i couldn't spend my 25th with all my loved ones, i did do a pretty good job at wrangling the family for a night out and also a few friends. This is sort of new for my family though, my interest in hanging out with them so much. It's been a really hard year so far, and it feels like its been tainted. Having been in Miami for the majority of it didn't help me at all. One should grieve with family i suppose or a loved one.
But its August and Lima is looking lovely (im a fan of the eternally grey skies that plague the city 9 out of 12 months during the year). And im enjoying my family, even though they may think its funny that im so mushy lately, or that i am borderline obsessed with pictures. August also means i get to see my S.O!
We're down to the big countdown for mr. bf's visit to Lima (T-10 days and counting!)
One day at a time and things will look up i suppose (:
(just saw Guardians of the Galaxy.. damn good movie! doesn't beat The Avengers, but i'll survive)
