MI CASA SU CASA

Lately i'm been thinking about the term "HOME". What is a home ? Is home really where the heart is, is it where one grows up and has their childhood memories. If so what about the new memories, are they not part of a home? To some a house can be many places a person lives in, but there will be ever only one home. So, I ask what defines a home. Personally, only having ever moved twice, i have a wonderful house, yes. In fact home doesn't really seem like a place with four walls and a ceiling, but a state of being, a feeling or even a person. Somewhere i long to be and miss above anything, where i feel safest and happiest, somewhere where i can be myself completely and truly without fear of judgement or criticism, that's my home, that's where i belong.

But alas, we all do need four walls and a floor to survive and kick back on friday afternoons and sunday mornings. My ideal home now being a loft. not sure where it'll be located though, its more of a mystery. i've had this idea in my head for quiet some time now, and thousands of decorating ideas are bumper car-ing around in my head! (i know, like a little girl with a doll house). Whichever, i'm looking forward to our place very much, hopefully we'll have it soon! (fingers crossed!).
